How to join

Everything you need to connect to Blockville on Java or Bedrock.

Server address

Java Edition (1.21 or newer) play.blockville.org Default, no port needed
Bedrock Edition play.blockville.org 19132

Bedrock players do not need a Java account.

Step by step

Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition and choose Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server and type play.blockville.org as the address.
  3. Select the server and click Join Server.
  4. When asked about the server resource pack, accept it. It is needed for custom items, menus and music.

Bedrock Edition (phone, tablet, console, Windows)

  1. Open Minecraft and go to Play, then the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll down and choose Add Server.
  3. Enter any name, the address play.blockville.org and the port 19132.
  4. Join, and accept the resource pack when asked.

Consoles cannot add servers directly in some versions. If yours has no Add Server button, ask in our Discord and a staff member will help you set it up.

After you connect

  • A short intro walks you through the basics, then you create your personal Box.
  • /menu opens the main menu with buttons for the shop, warps, your Box and more.
  • /rules shows the server rules and /discord gives you the invite link.

Trouble joining?

  • Make sure your game is on 1.21 or newer (Java).
  • On Bedrock, double check the port is exactly 19132.
  • If you see a ban message, it is not a connection problem. Join the Discord and ask staff.
  • Anything else, drop a message in the Discord and we will sort it out.
